I had forgotten what a genuine thrill it is to explore Copenhagen on two wheels. As we all know Amsterdam is also a fan of cycling and unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to cycle, it was definitely more dangerous with mopeds and trams thrown into the mix. Plus, according to a local I spoke to, one gets mocked for wearing a helmet. Ok then!
The pace is far more relaxed here in the right lane, or get some speed in the express left lane. For the 6hrs I had the rental bike, I did get to see a lot including the Frederiksberg Gardens and Palace, Kings Gardens and lots of cycling in between. Which reminds me to check how much weight I’ve lost since leaving home!
Last but definitely not least, don’t forget to visit Halifax Burger Bar – THE best burger I’ve had since Moaburger 4 years ago in Krakow and I’ve had a lot of burgers in my time – plus the French restaurant Les Trois Cochons, not far away. Two fine establishments that have set the bar high.
