- Guess what another sleep in. Perfect! Quick baguette brekkie from the service station and take a quick look at Google’s My Maps to work out which one of the many attractions plotted on the map is next to explore.
- I headed off to Saksun which I recall had some pretty sights and indeed it was one of the those places you have to visit in person to truly experience the majesty of nature’s work. Even the public toilet is pretty and fits-in with the grass-roof theme of surrounding buildings and the church.
- I ended up getting lost in the grassy paths, meeting Singaporean travellers and down the cliff to walk along the bay and out to the coast. Of course, the drone got to see some action – as we as some circling by nearby birds! 2 hours had gone but I wasn’t checking my watch at any point till I headed back to the house.
- Quick change and off to the capital Tórshavn where an intimate folk music festival is being held at a bar as part of the Summartónar program. A relaxing end to a chilly but pleasant day discovering another treasure of the Nordic.
