4 hours sleep always means you’re gonna have a BAD time.
Somehow I survived though, perhaps it was the delish BLTC I had with Ed just before we parted ways, then I headed to Centraal station only to find all the baggage lockers occupied and other travellers hungry to nab the next available one. Time to go for a walk, posted some items I wasn’t meant to pack in the first place, weighing me down, then back to the baggage store, success.
Off to the Moco Museum where both Banksy and Dali artworks featured and I’m glad I made the visit, both to see the popular and many lesser known works from both iconic artists.
Of course, one must have a waffle and while the sun was shining, I figured I’d head to the Vondelspark to lay down on the lush lawns for a good 20-minutes. Everyone else had the right idea, glad I did this as I felt re-energised for the onward journey to Centraal, Schipol and to Copenhagen where I’d have a decent 20-minute walk and 5 stories to climb with my crap before finally seeing the bed I so desperately needed!
